- Can you ship to my location?
We ship our signs to all states and internationally, using UPS and FedEx. We do not ship to PO Boxes. If you live in an area with a unique delivery situation, please call us at 800-717-3031 prior to ordering. We will work to figure out an alternative shipping method if necessary. Alternative shipping doees not fall under our free shipping policy.
- Can I order online and then pick up my sign at a store?
We do not have a physical retail space, but if you live near Eau Claire, Wisconsin, you can pick up your sign at our wood shop. Just add a note at checkout, and we will contact you when your order is ready!
- Can I get rush delivery?
We do not offer rush delivery at checkout, but if you need a sign by a certain date, give us a call at 800-717-3031 and we'll let you know if we can get your sign to you in time.
- Is there anything special I need to do to take care of my sign?
Our signs are made from solid knotty pine, and painted with Sherwin Williams brand paints. They are intended for indoor use, and can be dusted or wiped with a damp cloth. We do not seal our signs, so we do not recommend using cleansers or hard scrubbing, as this may remove or fade some of the paint.
- Can I hang my sign outside?
Our signs are made for indoor use, but you can certainly display it wherever you'd like! Where you place the sign outside will determine how long it holds up. Moisture and temperature changes can warp and wear out a sign, but usually it's the sun that does the most damage. A sign displayed on a covered porch, under an awning, or somewhere else that is protected from the sun will last longer than one with no protection.
If you plan to place your sign outside, we recommend applying a protective coat of poly or varnish over the top. We are happy to do this for you for an extra charge, or you can do it yourself after you receive the sign. Either way, you'll probably need to reapply the protective coating every few years depending on your climate. If you would like us to apply the initial protective coat, just let us know in the notes section at checkout!
- How long before my order is delivered?
We usually get signs out a day or two after the order is placed. We don't work on the weekends, so orders placed Saturday or Sunday will be started on Monday. Once we get your sign made and ready to ship, we make the shipping label and it's ready to be picked up. You'll get an email with tracking info, but the status won't change until FedEx or UPS picks it up and scans it into their system. We ship from Eau Claire, WI so neighboring states are often a 1-day ship, and out to the coasts might take 4-5 days.

- What about holidays?
Most holidays throughout the year don't cause much disruption to our shipping schedules, though delivery times will be extended if the shipping companies don't operate on those days.
"THE HOLIDAYS" however, are our busiest time of year, and we post updates to the site during the holiday season to let you know of delivery times and cut-off dates to order in time for Christmas Eve, Day, etc.
- Can I give my credit card number over the phone if I prefer?
All of our online transactions use our secure server, which utilizes a secure socket layer to protect your personal information. You cannot proceed through checkout on our site if you do not provide a credit card. However, if you do not wish to transmit your credit card information over the internet, we can process your order manually if you call us at 800-717-3031.
- Is there a sales tax for online orders?
Every internet order you place with us will be charged a sales and delivery tax of 5.5%, applied to the amount of the order. This tax rate is based upon the rate our shop is charged, regardless of the destination of your order.
- What if I need to cancel or change my order?
Please call us at the shop ASAP: 800-717-3031. We make your signs to order, so if you have a change or cancellation, there is a chance we can catch it before it gets made.
- Where is your store located?
We do not have a physical retail store, but make and ship everything from our wood shop at 1422 Prairie Ln. | Eau Claire, WI 54703
It's not fancy, but you're welcome to stop by and say hi, or check out some of our signs in person. We occasionally have scratch & dents or returns that we sell at a reduced price.
- What are your hours?
We work 6am-3pm Monday-Friday, Central Time. We don't work weekends, and sometimes the boss gives us Friday afternoons off too! If you call and get our voicemail, please leave a message and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
